The Sri Lanka demonstration farm was completed in March of 2017 and is an example of EACi’s Total-Solution. EACi and its agents in Sri Lanka are working together to provide planning and design ranging from the pre-production and construction stage to cultivation, and post-harvest marketing and sales of fruits and vegetables. The project also includes micro-financing for individual farmers to link into the program. To complement this work, the project builds agriculture cultivation facilities, provides agricultural machinery, and provides other agricultural technology in a one-stop service platform.

 

In coming phases, EACi and its agents will partner with the World Bank to replicate this project nationwide, building 100 demonstration farms and establishing new one-stop service platforms.
